I know this is not the best time in the world to purchase an iPhone, but retailers make it tougher to keep the dollar bills still in the pocket as you wait. Following Sprint’s recent strategy to drop the price on all their iPhone line-up, Walmart has now dropped the price of the 16GB iPhone 4S to just $148 after signing the typical two-year contract. The great thing about this deal is that it applies to all three of the nation-wide carriers that support it.
Obviously you know how this works. Retailers are now doing their best to get rid of their overstock, so if you don’t mind missing-out on the next generation iPhone in the next coming weeks, go for the iPhone 4S. It’s still a great phone for many, and not everybody in the world wants a jumbo phone. The catch though is that the sale is not available on all stores. If you try to buy it online you’ll find it for as low as $188 so you’ll just have to visit your closest stores to see if you’re lucky in finding the price.
