Because there is no shortage, as usual, of iPhone 5 leaks — and they appear to be somewhat consistent — we might be ahead of the worst kept iPhone secret in recent Apple history. Except from the iPhone 4 leak two years ago, we haven’t seen so many leaks (appearing to be credible) referring to an upcoming phone.
On that same note, it looks like some components have been again pictured. We’re looking at the larger screen, sensors, home button, nanoSIM tray as well as a metal backing (with mysterious designation behind the screen). On the same note, different story and source though, we’re presented with an alleged picture of the iPhone 5′s battery pack, one that is believed to be slightly larger in both size and capacity, at 1440mAh (compared to 1430mAh on the 4S).
On to the software side of things, iOS 6 looks like will bring a “Wi-Fi Plus Cellular” option which will help applications stay connected. Whenever an app will have problems connecting via WiFi, the system will switch to your data connection to keep you online in a consistent way. The list below the switch looks like an exception list; apps listed there can be allowed to use data over WiFi.
