Samsung has kept its promise and started delivering the official Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Galaxy S II in the middle of March. It is always good to see manufacturers offering device support (at least for the international) and it is even better to see them offering continuous updates.
Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich should be available soon for your international Galaxy S II (or immediately if you live in specific regions like Russia). While you are waiting for the refresh — which brings performance improvements and bugfixes as usual — you might want to check whether you have the latest version of KIES installed (and be on the lookout for that OTA update notification).
