On June 19 Nokia announced that its 41-megapixel-powered monster will be available in the U.S. through Amazon. While there was no indication of an exact availability date, the announcement made it public that the phone will go for $699, fully unlocked and unsubsidized.

You can now purchase the Nokia 808 PureView as it is available from the merchant. You will get it by July 10 and, as per why you’d like to purchase a phone running Symbian Belle, in a world dominated by Android, iOS and Windows Phone, the answer is the 41-megapixel image sensor and stellar imaging functionality. Make sure to check out why the North American 808 PureView makes sense.
