Some Nokia Lumia 710 and 800 devices are already getting the Windows Phone 8773 update — dubbed Tango, which is running out-of-the-box on the Lumia 610 — but it sure looks like the Finnish phone maker will not stop right here. A new update popped up on NaviFirm and it looks to be Windows Phone 8779.
The update’s regions are listed as being countries like Thailand, Pakistan, India, Lebanon, and Tunisia so it could only bring features which would improve the user experience in these markets. With many features already included in the Tango refresh — like internet sharing, flip phone over to silence an incoming call and the ability to install exclusive new applications available in the Windows Phone Marketplace (Camera Extras, Counters, Contact share, and more) — we’re not sure what to expect from 8779.
