Oh, HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE, what a struggle you’ve had actually making it to retail. We’ve been documenting the baby steps the Android has been taking towards going up for sale ever since it was officially announced back at the beginning of May. It’s finally been starting to look like the phone was actually ready to show up, and today HTC has sent out a tweet that appears to confirm that coming availability.
The company writes:
Next week, we’ve got some special fun headed your way. We hear it’s going to be INCREDIBLE.
We first heard about the possibility of the phone arriving on July 5 a little over a week ago. That claim was bolstered by the release earlier this week of a leaked screenshot from Verizon’s computers that appeared to confirm the date. While it doesn’t exactly spell things out, it would be hard to read HTC’s tweet as anything other than concerning the Droid Incredible 4G LTE arrival, considering the context. All taken together, this seems like strong evidence confirming those July 5 rumors.
Pricing info has yet to be confirmed, but we’re expecting the Droid Incredible 4G LTE to go for about $150 on contract.
