Alongside all the great news about Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and the Nexus 7 Tablet, Google also brought some important stuff to the Google Play Store, like the ability to remote update or uninstall apps from devices, as well as the addition of magazines, TV shows, and movie purchases. However, these last bits are only accessible to those running the latest version of the Google Play store that comes on the Nexus 7 tablet or the Jelly Bean-powered Galaxy Nexus.
As usual, the community comes to the rescue. The latest Google Play Store — version 3.7.11 — is available in a downloadable APK form for all you out there who want to use it a couple of days ahead of the rest that will get the app refresh over-the-air anyways. Check out the source link for the download.
