Google Maps Offline For Android Walkthrough (Video)

One of the cool features that was officially announced at Google I/O today was the option to download maps on your Android device. Surely the feature isn’t new to some, but the recent update to the Android version of Maps now brings an official and easy way to get it done. If you haven’t received the update, make sure you visit the Google Play store to get yours. We know a lot of you travel constantly and may rely on saving a buck or two in roaming charges, so this feature may be what you were looking for. Sadly, it’s still a work in progress if you’re looking for that sort of solution. It brings a feature that’s great to have, but it’s still a couple of versions away from substituting any paid navigation service you may already have.
