Microsoft brought some great news for Windows Phone fans yesterday but Nokia is also throwing in some reasons to be happy. The Finnish manufacturer announced that it will make Nokia Drive, its current Lumia-only navigation support, to all Windows Phone 8 partners.
Free turn-by-turn navigation will arrive to all Windows Phone 8 devices to offer mapping and navigation solution for more than 110 countries. In addition to Nokia Maps we already heard about, “Nokia’s Location platform will be central to the Windows Phone 8 experience, with the intention of developing smartphones that bring advanced location experiences.Windows Phone 8 partners and developers will be able to use our location assets to build location-based apps and experiences of superior quality.”
