Last week, we learned that in addition to Nokia releasing a special edition Lumia 900 for the release of The Dark Knight Rises, it looked like the 710 would see a similar Batman tie-in. We got to see some Batman-themed Xpress-on covers for the 710, but didn’t have any details on just how widespread they might be, nor on what you’d have to do to get one. While we still haven’t heard any official word, details on the promotion have now leaked, for those of you interested in a Dark Knight Rises 710.

To get one of these Batman covers with your 710, you’ll need to get to pick up a new 710 on a two-year contract at a T-Mobile retailer between June 13 and July 10. We’d love to find out if they’ll also be available separately, but so far that hasn’t been addressed. We have a feeling that they may be reserved for this promotion, considering how this report mentions that quantities of the Batman covers will be limited. With June 13 just around the corner, it shouldn’t be long before we get confirmation either way.

It’s unusual to see a phone tied to a promotion like this one so long after its original release date, which we suppose only goes to show how much faith Nokia and T-Mobile continue to have in the 710.
