Windows Phone Tango is Microsoft’s effort to lower the price point of devices and enter emerging markets as well as compete with low-end/budget Android devices. They manage that in partnership with OEMs by lowering the specifications of their phones.
In this video we’re going to take a look at Windows Phone Mango vs. Windows Phone Tango, and we’re going to use a wave-one device, the LG Optimus 7, which we’re going to put up against the Nokia Lumia 610, a legacy Tango phone. We’re comparing day-to-day/real-life/application launch times, Internet Browsing as well as gaming, to find out whether the low specifications on Tango phones are a deal-breaker (or whether Windows Phone Tango is usable even on low-specced smartphones).
