Those of you rocking a New iPad with iOS 5.1 on it will be happy to find out that an untethered jailbreak is in the works. According to the video teaser below, by pod2g, the project is in a rather advanced stage but it’s not just yet available for the public.

Aside from the fact that you will see Cydia and the truckload of applications listed you will definitely notice that the Apple tablet is booting up on its own, with no help from a computer. Whether the full untethered jailbreak will be released soon or held back in order for Apple not to patch anything in iOS is yet unknown but fingers crossed it will be available soon.
