LG LS970 Eclipse 4G LTE Leak Shows Quad-Core S4, 2GB RAM

LG’s Optimus LTE2, with its 2GB of RAM, has recently been revealing to us the manufacturer’s latest efforts to step-up its Android game. While the phone sounds like it will have more than enough memory, some users might have been disappointed that the rest of the phone’s rumored hardware isn’t quite up to that same level of excess. Well, if that’s what you’re into, we might have just the LG phone for you, as some new leaks make the company’s model LS970 out to be quite the Android powerhouse.

The LS970 will apparently come with a Qualcomm APQ8064 under its hood. That’s one of the company’s latest Krait designs, and it’s a beast. The APQ8064 is a quad-core Snapdragon S4 chip, and incorporates the same upgraded Adreno 320 GPU as the MSM8960 Pro.

Other claimed hardware specs for the phone include a 4.7-inch display in an unusual 1280 x 768 resolution, 16GB of internal storage, and a 13-megapixel main camera with 1.3-megapixel front-facer.

Like the LTE2, it looks like the LS970 will also arrive with 2GB of RAM, confusingly indicated in this leak as 16 gigabits.

With support for LTE band 25, it’s pretty likely this handset is destined for a home with Sprint, where it may arrive as the LG Eclipse 4G LTE.
