Is Apple Really Testing A 7.85-Inch iPad In Its Labs?

There was no real shortage of rumors when it comes to the alleged 7-inch/8-inch iPad (also called the iPad Mini in some reports). According to recent hear-say, Apple is testing a smaller iPad in its labs in Cupertino.

John Gruber from The Talk Show spoke about a 7.85-inch Apple tablet but he also said that it was unknown whether the said device will ever see the light of day. In case it will, WWDC could be a great opportunity. Apple is known as a company which experiments a lot with several form-factors and screen sizes. Will they enter the 7-inch tablet market? That’s still unknown but such a device would nicely compete with Google’s rumored Nexus tablet — which we might have seen or not rendered recently — and Amazon’s Kindle Fire.
