This time last week, we looked into a rumor that the Droid Fighter which had been mentioned in leaked Verizon roadmaps was actually a new large-screen RAZR variant. That seemed plausible enough, given how we had already seen a bunch of RAZR-alikes that Motorola had prepared for China. Today we get a look at another model that might be joining the RAZR family, as well as two mid-range Motorola Androids.
Our new RAZR variant supposedly goes by the name “Blade”, which is either a bad pun or a translation error we’re leaning towards the latter. Comparing it against the other Chinese RAZR models we’ve seen, it’s clearly a new design, with the Kevlar skin extending all the way up to its camera sensor. Like the Fighter, it apparently lacks Android buttons and would presumably ship with Ice Cream Sandwich. For the moment, we don’t know about the phone’s hardware, and if it might differ from the RAZR in any way.
Thankfully, there’s quite a bit more available on the next two Motorola we’re checking out today. The MT680 and XT760 are solidly mid-range models, though with some very decent specs. The MT680 (below, right) has both dual-core 1GHz and single-core 1.5GHz processor options, features a five-megapixel camera, and has a WVGA display. The XT760 (below, left) is a little higher-end, with a dual-core 1GHz CPU, eight-megapixel camera, and a qHD screen. Both phones will run Gingerbread, and should first arrive in Asia.
