Rumors Hope to Detail Additional HTC Endeavor / One X Specs

When we first told you about HTC’s plans for the then-Edge, now-Endeavor, and soon-to-be One X, back in November of last year, we brought you a good deal of detail on the phone’s hardware makeup. Not too long ago, a leaked ROM for the handset surfaced, and was able to help confirm many of those specs. It won’t be long at all now before we hope to get official confirmation of the Android superphone at the Mobile World Congress, but until we do, some new rumors out today hope to help fill-in a few of the remaining gaps in our knowledge of the Endeavor.

Some of these details, as tipped to MoDaCo, hadn’t been directly mentioned before, but make sense in context. Take, for instance, the claim that the 4.7-inch 720p screen will be a Super LCD component. Others represent some significant departures; we’re hearing now that the phone may not feature capacitive buttons as shown on render we’ve had, but instead go full-ICS with only on-screen buttons.

As far as storage goes, the phone would supposedly ship with at least 32GB, though apparently without microSD support for expansion. We’re also told that the Endeavor will be one of a growing number of handsets to demand microSIM cards. Other new tidbits include the possibility of a move up to Android 4.0.5, and the inclusion of an 1800mAh battery.
