Opera is a very popular third-party browser replacement for Android-smartphone users (and not only). According to a recent press release, Opera is preparing to show off new versions of its browser at the Mobile World Congress at the end of the month.

The new Opera Mini and Opera Mobile browsers “will focus a lot on the social aspect of browsing”. Despite having a rather large market share with more than 160 million active monthly users worldwide in the browser department, the company is planning on making other announcements too. It looks like part of those will be mobile payments “which will democratize the area by bringing it to not just smartphone users”. We’ll be in Barcelona to bring you all the hot stuff so stay glued to Pocketnow.
