The GSM Samsung Galaxy Nexus was released November 17th, 2011. Not long after we learned that a series of “official” accessories would follow shortly.

Those accessories were to include a Desktop Dock with an HDMI-out port, a Desk Stand with 3.5mm headphone jack that would utilize the phone’s “3 gold dots” to charge, a desktop stand that would hold the phone and charge a spare battery, and a Car Dock with charging and audio-out.

The release dates of these accessories has been repeatedly pushed further down the calendar. According to Expansys, today was to be the release date of the Car Dock — unfortunately it’s been pushed back to February 28th.

The remainder of the accessories still have their release date listed as February 29th.

Samsung, why is it so difficult for you to release accessories at or near the time the phone is released?
