AT&T LG Phoenix Gets Gingerbread Update Via Desktop Software

The LG Phoenix was AT&T’s post-paid offering mid-April last year — alongside the LG Thrive as the first pre-paid phone — that brought the popular LG Optimus One to the carrier’s line-up. Since it’s a 2011 model, AT&T is making good on its promise to update all last year Android models to Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

First things first: you’ll have to use a Windows PC to download and install LG Mobile Support Tool. After doing so and, upon connecting the device, you’ll be able to install the platform refresh which will bring you all the goodies Gingerbread has to offer. Follow the source link below for a step-by-step guide on getting Gingerbread officially on your AT&T LG Phoenix.
