The Motorola Droid RAZR Maxx has a huge 3300mAh battery which provides almost two days of juice under a heavy use case scenario. To get the bigger battery it will cost you a $100 premium plus 2mm of thickness when compared to the original Droid RAZR. Is it worth the premium?

We’ve become so conditioned to managing battery life that we’ve adjusted our usage habits to accomodate the relatively poor battery life of most smartphones out there. We charge up each day (and in a lot of cases, more than once per day), we adjust sync settings to toll the battery less, we don’t use live wallpaper, and we keep screen brightness to the lowest tolerable setting.

Something wonderful happens when you don’t have to think about battery life: you don’t have to think about battery life! You can use your phone to the fullest extent of its capability without becoming anxious about whether you’ll run out of juice at an inopportune time.

If you didn’t have to think about battery life, what would change?
