Samsung officially unveiled the Galaxy S Advance, a follow-up to the Samsung Galaxy S Plus (which is a follow-up to the initial Samsung Galaxy S). The phone features a 1GHz dual-core processor, 768MB of RAM, four-inch WVGA Super AMOLED display with curved design, and a five-megapixel camera with LED flash.

You can see the curved glass (a la Nexus S) display in the picture above and you can see Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread in action in the video below. The phone also features a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, A-GPS, WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, 8GB and 16GB internal memory variants with microSD card slot extension, FM Radio, and 1500mAh battery. Also note the unlock mechanism of TouchWiz which, opposed to the one on the Galaxy S II (where you swipe off the lock screen) brings the unlock ring (circle) a la HTC and later ICS.
