“Snake” Game Brings Your Nokia Lumia Back to the 90s

The new Nokia Lumia phones have been seeing some excellent reviews. Many people are very happy with the new direction Nokia has taken in an attempt to reverse their decline in market share. However, as futuristic and beautifully designed as the new Nokia phones are, a lot of commenters in Nokia’s social network sites jokingly wrote that all they really need is the old “Snake” game from the classic Nokia phones of the 90s. It seems that Willem from Amsterdam decided to put together a Windows Phone game that replicates the old pixelated, small-screened, black & white version of the classic game as it was in 1997. It even has the old numeric keypad for controls!

You can download Snake ’97 for Windows Phone here for $0.99 with a free trial available. The free trial is fully functional, but limits the top score capability. Of course you don’t need to have a new Nokia Lumia phone to enjoy the retro Snake game. It will work on any Windows Phone.
