Huawei, China Unicom Announce Ice Cream Sandwich-Powered Honor

Huawei announced the Android-powered Honor at the end of September 2011, with a 1.4GHz single-core processor, four-inch FWVGA (480 x 854) display, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of ROM, eight-megapixel camera, two-megapixel front-facing webcam, microSD slot accepting up to 32GB of additional storage memory and a huge 1900mAh battery.

In a joint press conference, Huawei and China Unicom announced the launch of the Ice Cream Sandwich-powered Honor. It will be available in less than one month, just in time for Valentine’s Day. We’ve already seen the Honor back in December running some demo bits of Ice Cream Sandwich which was a good indication of things to come but whether the white phone with ICS-code will remain a China Unicom exclusive or not is yet unknown.
