Amazon Kindle Fire Software Update Brings Full-Screen Browsing
The Amazon Kindle Fire, launched at the end of September 2011, has just received a software update with version number 6.2.2 which seems to add the full-screen browsing capability to the fast Silk Browser — which has been already ported to other Android devices.
There’s also some bad news on the same note: the update breaks root. If you are using BurritoRoot to set your Kindle Fire free, you might want to reconsider updating to 6.2.2 as the refresh renders the rooting procedure useless for the moment. Amazon is yet to release the official documentation for the update but if you decide you want to apply the latest software, head over to the source link below.
