Nokia and T-Mobile launched the Lumia 710 back in December of last year when they said it will be available starting January 11, which is today. Stephen Elop referred to the device, carrier and date several times while on stage at CES and, as promised, the phone is now available.

It comes in white and black flavors, both going for $49.99 on a two-year contract. According to the CEO of Nokia, the Lumia 710 is targeted for those consumers that didn’t make the jump to a smartphone, by delivering a great build quality with a fresh, fun and revolutionary platform.

As a reminder, the Lumia 710 packs a Qualcomm MSM8255 1.4GHz processor, a 3.7-inch ClearBlack WVGA screen, 512MB RAM, 8GB storage, five-megapixel auto-focus camera with LED flash, WLAN 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1, A-GPS, micro-USB connector and charging port plus 1300 mAh battery.
