Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G Tipped for 42Mbps T-Mobile HSPA+

We’ve learned that T-Mobile is poised to add a third 42Mbps HSPA+ handset to its lineup, known as the Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G. Since the Blaze isn’t scheduled to launch until later in the year, details are still scarce: so far all that’s been revealed to us are a dual-core Snapdragon processor by Qualcomm and, predictably, a Super AMOLED display of unknown dimensions. All indications point to this being a successor to the carrier’s version of the Galaxy S II, not the least of which is its model number: SGH-T999, which is the highest number Samsung has ever used for a T-Mobile-bound handset. In fact, we’ll be interested to see how the two companies label the flagship phone which follows the Blaze, as there is no higher number in the general SGH-Txx9 naming convention.

Expect more details on the Galaxy S Blaze 4G to be revealed later this afternoon/evening.
