As much as we’d wish that all the recent leaks of the Sony Ericsson Xperia Nozomi, aka Ark HD were more than just leaks, but we’ll have to settle for now. More images have surfaced recently, along with more spec information, though most of it is stuff you already knew about.
The Ark HD plans to provide a 720p resolution 4.3″ LCD, a 12 megapixel camera with 1080p video capabilities, 1GB of RAM with a choice of either 16GB or 32GB of built-in storage due to the lack of microSD expansion. An interesting note here is that it’ll include a new Snapdragon chipset featuring a 1.5GBz dual-core Scorpion CPU and an Adreno 220 GPU, which will provide stunning performance while sharing content in 1080p with any TV through an HDMI port.
It also appears to borrow from Apple’s smartphone standards in adopting a microSIM for GSM connectivity and even the battery seems to be non-removable. The bad news here is that it appears to stay on the Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread wagon. No launch dates also fall under the bad news category.
