The LG Spectrum, Verizon’s “Revolution 2”, popped up in initial renders from the beginning of December, followed shortly after by press shots and full specifications.

According to the latest reports, the phone will see a January 19 launch. The price is still unknown but you can expect it to be in the range of $250-$300. Just to recap the specs, it will sport a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S3 CPU, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of storage plus 16GB microSD, 4.5-inch HD (1280×720) IPS LCD, eight-megapixel 1080p main camera and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing shooter. Unfortunately there will be no ICS love as the phone will launch with Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

Access to exclusive HD ESPN Scorecenter content will be bundled as well as Netflix HD. Add to those a complete set of HD video editing tools. We’ll be at CES and if LG brings the Spectrum along we’ll have some great hands-on time with it for your viewing pleasure.
