Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus Render Surfaces (Update: It’s Official)
Before the Mobile World Congress last year Samsung introduced four devices among which the Galaxy Ace — alongside Galaxy Fit, Galaxy Gio, and Galaxy mini. Somewhat earlier than last year, pictures of a certain Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus surface online, hinting towards a CES or MWC launch.
There is no information related to hardware specs but, as you’d expect from a device refresh, the new Galaxy Ace Plus will probably house a better processor — opposed to the 800MHz CPU ticking in last year’s Ace — and maybe even more RAM. The general outline of the phone is what you’d expect from a Samsung device but, compared to the Galaxy Ace, the Galaxy Ace Plus is a little bit more rounded, with a shiny battery cover and repositioned camera plus flash.
Update: Samsung just made the Galaxy Ace Plus official. As we expected, there are improved internals to go with the curved pastic on the refresh. There’s a 1GHz processor inside, 512MB of RAM, 3.65-inch HVGA screen, five-megapixel camera with LED flash, aGPS, Bluetooth 3.0, WiFi b/g/n, microSD card slot and a 1,300mAh battery. It runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
