Untethered iOS 5.0.1 Jailbreak for Pre-A5 iPhones Released

If you were with us over the past couple of days you probably heard that Pod2g has given the Chronic Dev Team all the details concerning the A4 untethered jailbreak so work can be done in parallel for the A5-chip powered devices too.

Christmas in just one-day late as the solution has been released for the public. If you have an iPhone with an earlier than A5-chip running iOS 5.0.1, redsn0w 0.9.10b1 for OS X and Windows are live and should help you apply some untethered jailbreak goodness. While we’re happy for our friends rocking the iPhone 4, we are crossing our fingers for Pod2g and his work in setting the iPhone 4S and iPad 2 free.
