As we see a new crop of super high-resolution Android phones arrive to the market like the Galaxy Note, HTC Rezound, and Galaxy Nexus, there’s new potential to experiment with changing the pixel density to one that allows more data to fit on the screen at one time. You can do this as long as your phone is rooted. Using a free app like LCD Resolution, available on the Android Market, you can force your Android to use a variety of screen resolutions. While you might break certain stock applications, most other programs will work perfectly with the higher resolution.
