Verizon Galaxy Nexus LTE Best Buy Stock Info Leaked

During the last couple weeks, it’s started looking more and more likely that the Samsung Galaxy Nexus on Verizon LTE would be arriving around December 8. While there hasn’t been anything resembling official confirmation, we also haven’t been hearing rumors of any other plausible dates. Today, though, a new leak out of Best Buy reveals some details on its plans for stocking the Nexus, and suggest we may be looking at a longer wait for the phone to arrive.

The inventory data shows Best Buy expecting stocks of the LTE Galaxy Nexus to arrive on December 11. That’s just when the store would be getting them, mind you, and though we would expect the start of sales to follow shortly thereafter, there’s no guarantee that’s the plan.

We also could be looking at a situation, though probably not a very likely one, where Verizon does go ahead and launch the phone itself on December 8, with Best Buy joining-in with sales a few days later.

Engadget’s eye for detail has noticed that the physical description of the Galaxy Nexus in this image differs slightly from the specifications that Google has made available; specifically, these show a thinner and lighter phone. That might be as innocent as a typo, but it is an oddity worth noting.
