Brazilian-Made Apple iPhone 4 Surfaces
Turn your iPhone around and read the text! “Designed by Apple in California. Assembled in China.” It’s pretty much the description you see on every iPhone, except for the one pictured above, replacing “assembled in China” with “Industria Brasiliera”.
We would have expected an “assembled in Brazil” label but not. The iPhone 4 above is allegedly made by Foxconn’s Brazilian factory and it appears to be a localized version of the device. You can also see that the device is ANATEL-approved, Brazil’s National Telecommunications Agency. With no clear plans for an iPhone 4S release in Brazil, it is believed that the Brazilian-made and localized iPhone 4 will be hitting the Brazilian market, according to reports, around December 2. Since it is an 8GB model, it should go hand in hand with the iPhone 4S, the one with currently a big question mark in terms of Brazilian availability.
