Nokia To Roll-Out New Windows Phones In H1 2012
This shouldn’t come as a surprise to you from several perspectives: first, Nokia is pretty committed to Windows Phone since the February announcement; second, the Finnish company said it several times that they are preparing quite a couple of devices and are in it for the long run and volume; last but not least, the reception of initial Windows Phones made in Finland is very good and it should make the manufacturer even more determined.
Now that we’ve made sure you’ll not be surprised, Michael Hus, general manager of Nokia Taiwan, said that Espoo will roll-out new Windows Phones in the first half of 2012. These will follow the Lumia 710 and Lumia 800 which are already on certain markets. This comes right in context with Nokia France head Paul Amsellem’s statement about upcoming Nokia phones which will diversify the portfolio. Hopefully we’ll see this at CES for the American market and MWC for the others.
