We like quick and timely updates regardless of the phone’s make, model or carrier. AT&T introduced the Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket at the end of October and the device already has an update being delivered to it.

On your Skyrocket go to Menu, Settings, Software update, Check for updates and you should have one ready to install over-the-air. It is Google Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread and we know that this build of the platform fixed some bugs (including the voice search one) but chances are AT&T and Samsung also applied some tweaks.
