Foodily, Scan Pages, Magic Taxi, Amazing Breaker, Google Earth – iOS App Picks


In this episode of the iOS App Picks we demonstrate five applications in 30 seconds each. These apps will allow you to capture scans of documents, keep you entertained, and find recipes and other food related posts from your Facebook friends. To download these apps directly to your iPhone, just click on the title of the application and the iTunes software will automatically launch to the app in the App Store. If you have the free Google Search app installed on your iPhone just snap a picture of the QR-Code using Google Goggles or any other QR-Code scanner that will launch the App Store on your iPhone.

Foodily – A free application


Find great recipes from blogs and Facebook friends with Foodily. This app allows you to share the recipes that you like best with your Facebook friends and Foodily contacts easily. Just snap a picture of your food item and upload instructions and ingrediantes to share with others.


Scan Pages – A free application


Create PDF documents from images of pages with Scan Pages. This app makes it easy to convert photos of text into readable PDF files from book, text pages, and more. Just snap a picture of the document, align the page, and convert. Export the images and save them to your iOS device.


Taxi Magic – A free application


Reserve a taxi from virtually anywhere with Taxi Magic. This app makes it simple to reserve a taxi directly from your iOS device. If the taxi service is not listed on the Magic Taxi app you can always call one of the taxi providers easily.


Amazing Breaker – A lite and $0.99 full version


Amazing Breaker is a fun and addictive game. The object of the game is to position various explosives on a fragile object to destroy it. Break the correct percentage of the object or more to move on to the next level and earn bonuses.


Google Earth – A free application


Google Earth is the authority of satellite imagery of the Earth and is now available on your iOS device. This app is very similar to the application that is available for your computer. Use multitouch gestures to manipulate the views. Track your current location and view photos, Wikipedia entries, and more.
