RIM introduced BBM Music at the end of August as the company’s take on a cloud-based service that allows for music discovery. Users can create their own community-based music library and now the company has announced that the service is live in the U.K.

It will cost £4.99 per month and subscribers will be allowed to have a totalof 50 tracks in their library, with the ability to switch 25 out every month. You will have access to your friends’ music (but no more than 140 friends) so that you will both discover and diversify your music collection. If this is something you want for yourself and your friends (there’s no need to subscribe if you’re alone), make sure to check for the app in the BlackBerry App World and sign up for the service.
