The Samsung Stratosphere, announced on October 10, is Verizon’s first QWERTY keyboard-equipped LTE-enabled smartphone. Originally only available in black, there will be a white variant on sale with Best Buy for Black Friday, November 25.

The phone packs a four-inch Super AMOLED display, 1GHz Hummingbird Application Processor, five-row QWERTY keyboard, 1.3-megapixel front-facer, five-megapixel main camera with autofocus and flash (720p HD playback and 480p recording), WiFi a/b/g/n, Mobile Hotspot, Bluetooth 3.0 and Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Instead of paying $149.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate at Verizon, you can get the phone for free on Black Friday, of course with the two-year contract. The model offered is the white one, and it joins other popular Android devices like the EVO Shift 4G from Sprint, Droid Incredible 2 from Verizon, and Thrill 4G, Atrix 2, BlackBerry Torch 9810 from AT&T.
