HTC Watch Now Functional on Windows Phone

If you recently got yourself a new HTC Radar 4G or HTC Titan running Windows Phone 7.5 you may have noticed the practically useless HTC Watch application that was bundled with those devices. It only had one screen with a few movie trailers that you could watch along with an “upgrade” button that didn’t do anything. Today that app has been updated and we’re happy to say that it is now useful for something. HTC Watch is HTC’s movie rental and purchasing store. You can view movie trailers for free, rent movies for $3.99, or buy them for $14.99. There are also some TV shows available for $1.99 each.

Since Windows Phone currently does not offer direct Marketplace access to their movies and videos library (you have to use Zune desktop), this may be a nice alternative for you.
