A few months ago we received a long list of words purporting to be codenames of future HTC devices. Since then, we’ve watched each and every newly-revealed product from the Taiwanese manufacturer appear on what is clearly a legitimate document. With yesterday’s alleged quad-core Edge also finding a spot here, we’re now confident enough to publish the list, unabridged:
As a disclaimer, the source noted that all of the names might not be used, but so far we’ve found it to be deadly accurate.
We can knock off Bliss, Edge, Eternity, Holiday, Omega, Pico, Pop, Ruby, Runnymede, and Vigor, as well as Prime, which should be a Windows Phone QWERTY slider we spotted some time ago. That still leaves a whopping 24 names unaccounted for, which could easily represent a full year or more worth of devices, even from a company as prolific as HTC.
Based on the list’s track record so far, we’re pretty sure that you’ll be hearing more of these names — at least some of them — in the coming months.
