Apple Reportedly Testing Siri on the iPhone 4

One of the main differentiating factors of the iPhone 4S over last year’s Apple-phone, aside from the improved camera and faster processor, is Siri, the virtual assistant which turned out to be a great success. According to reports, Apple is considering bringing Siri to the iPhone 4.

Last year’s Cupertino-designed phone is capable of running Siri without any problems — as we’ve seen it ported over — but it looks like Apple might be considering an official way for Siri to work on the device. Some Apple employees are said to rock a special build of iOS 5 on their iPhone 4 devices to test out Siri, according to two different sources “close to the matter”. If Apple decided to bring Siri to the iPhone 4, do you think it might cannibalize the sales of the iPhone 4S, having one less exclusive feature to brag about?
