On November 4 Apple granted some of its executives $60 million bonuses. Instead of wiring the money to their respective amounts, top Apple-men get 150,000 shares part of which will be vested on June 21, 2013, with the rest in March 2016.

Apple is offering shares both as a way of thanking top executives for their hard work as well as for motivational purposes. 75,000 shares will be vested in June of 2013 and the remaining 75,000 in March 2016. The executives getting the bonuses are Scott Forstall, Robert Mansfield, Peter Oppenheimer, Philip Schiller, Jeffrey Williams, Bruce Sewell and Eduardo Cue.
