Twitter for iPhone Developer Leaves Company

The person who created Tweetie 2, a Twitter client which later became the official iOS Twitter application on the iPhone and later iPad, Loren Brichter, has quit the company.

He said in a tweet this Friday that it was his “last day at Twitter. Taking some time to figure out what’s next. Really proud of the way the team has grown”. That phrasing implies that Brichter is not leaving the company in order to join another ship though his coding skills would be definitely appreciated, together with the aspect of its apps’ interface which have later set out a standard for Android and BlackBerry clients, as well as the web version.
