Samsung Focus S 16GB Storage Confirmed
AT&T announced plans this time last week to carry Samsung’s Focus S and Focus Flash. Shortly before hearing that, a rumor came our way claiming that the Focus S would have 32GB of internal storage. Unfortunately, AT&T’s announcement didn’t contain full spec break-downs on the handsets. Now, still a couple days before its retail debut, we’re hearing from people who have gotten the chance to spend a little one-on-one time with the Focus S, finally letting us confirm its storage capacity.
We hate to disappoint, but according to at least one hands-on account, the Focus S will have only 16GB of storage. What we still don’t know is if that’s a hardwired flash, or if we’re talking about a microSD and the possibility of replacing it with a larger component.
As shouldn’t be a surprise, reports of experiences with the Focus S note how swift and fluid interactions through the operating system are, as well as the image quality of the Super AMOLED Plus screen.
The Focus S launches this Sunday for about $200. If you’d still like a better look at the phone, there’s a Windows Phone event scheduled for Monday that should feature the Focus S, and we’ll be sure to tell you all about anything that transpires.
