Siri Outage Reported: Is It Still Working For You?

“Siri, why won’t you listen to me?” Earlier today, we came across some scattered reports of problems iPhone 4S users were having trying to use Siri on their smartphones. Based on the error messages Siri has been spitting-out, there are either network connectivity issues with the app being able to reach Apple’s servers, or something wrong with the servers themselves. Since then, more and more users have taken to the likes of Twitter to vent their frustration, indicating this is a wide-spread problem.

If you’re having trouble getting Siri to work this evening, you might have some luck by resetting your iPhone and booting back up, but the efficacy of that work-around remains questionable. We haven’t heard anything from Apple, which is likely well-aware of and trying to fix the situation already. If the outage continues, we might get a statement from the company, but we’re hoping for the sake of everyone who’s grown accustom to Siri in the past few weeks that Apple is able to get things running again before that’s necessary.
