Motorola Droid RAZR on Verizon Gets Catchy New Release Date

So far, all recent signs have pointed to Verizon releasing the Motorola Droid RAZR on November 10. We’ve seen that date pop up time and time again, from the ship-by date for pre-orders, to a leaked doc identifying it as the day of the RAZR’s all-channel launch. It now seems like one exec might have been absentmindedly flipping through his calendar when inspiration struck (Oh! That’s a much more interesting date!); a new advertisement for the RAZR sees its release date get pushed back a day, now set to formally launch on November 11, or 11/11/11.

Not only is the phone’s launch date going all palindromic, but the precise time is as well, with plans to start sales at 11:11:11 AM. We’re not sure how faithfully stores will stick to waiting until the exact second they’re allowed to offer the RAZR, and at least one rumor has suggested that the handset will still be up for sale on November 10 as originally planned, and this 11/11/11 thing is more advertising campaign than hard-and-fast start of availability.
