Even though the two Nokia Lumia Windows Phones were announced yesterday at the Nokia World Event, day-two also brings some exciting news. Following Microsoft’s model, Nokia is preparing to send out developer devices.

Marco Argenti, Senior Vice President of Developer and Marketplace at Nokia said that 25,000 Nokia Lumia 800 devices will be sent out to developers. “Nokia Lumia 800 is a beautiful thing. Developers will be inspired to create beautiful apps; the opportunity is here, now”. No other details were made public but given Microsoft’s success with the “developers. Developers. DEVELOPERS” program and the close relationship between the two companies, the Nokia program will definitely increase development activities.
