Nokia Introducing Lumia 800 and Lumia 710 Tomorrow?

Looking at what’s expected for Nokia World this year, we singled-out two Windows Phone handsets we hoped to hear announced. It’s now looking more and more likely that both will be featured, with the pair showing up in a new set of pics that might just nail-down their names for once.

It was starting to seem likely that, of all the names we’ve heard associated with it, the Nokia 800 would end up as the Lumia. According to these new pics, both the 800 and what we know as the Sabre will share the Lumia name, arriving as the Lumia 800 and Lumia 710.

Of course, this information is only useful if true, so does this source hold up? The featured images of the two phones look great, and include a black variant on the 710/Sabre we haven’t seen earlier. Still, there are some inconsistencies with the text, like the 710 referring to the lack of an “SD Slot”, while the 800 is supposed to have “no uSD card slot”. Then there are just sloppy bits, like the absence of a measurement unit when claiming the 800 has “512 program memory”. Altogether, it’s hard to say what to think; at least we should know for sure in the very near future.
