Research In Motion announced the BBM Music service at the end of August as the company’s new social music sharing and discovery offering allowing users to have 50 songs stored on the phone with the ability to swap out 25 of them every month.

The BBM Music application has been updated to version 1.0.0.124 in the BlackBerry Beta Zone with quite a few changes. If you are on a data plan that is not so generous you can use BBM Music over Wi-Fi. Playback stability has been improved on CDMA certain devices, and so was offline song playback on OS 5.0 devices.
