T-Mobile Getting HTC Radar 4G on November 2 For About $100

It’s been almost a month since T-Mobile announced plans to carry HTC’s Radar as the Radar 4G, and nearly just as long since a leak suggested that T-Mobile would begin sales of the Windows Phone handset on November 2. Now the carrier has made things official, posting to its Facebook page that the Radar 4G will be available starting Wednesday, November 2.

While the date might have been tipped-off by the leak of an earlier roadmap, that old pricing information needs to be updated; instead of the nearly $200 mentioned back then, now T-Mobile is saying that the Radar 4G will go for about $100, on-contract and with rebates.

If you’re making the upgrade from a first-generation Windows Phone 7 device, you’ll notice the Radar 4G’s front-facing camera straight away, one of the more obvious additions to the WP7 spec in its second year. Of course, as a modern WP7 smartphone, the Radar 4G arrives running Mango.

The Radar 4G is powered by a single-core 1GHz Snapdragon, has 512MB of RAM and an 8GB flash, and features a 3.8-inch WVGA display.
